Canadian mufflers

The Canadian 20's mufflers are a little different
Notice the riveted on bracket and separate deflector. Like US production, the ends appear to be pressed with two thicknesses of thinner material. On the front end there is a lair of crescent shaped cut-outs on the small lip that goes to the exhaust pipe. Instead of the rolled in Ridge used on the US exhaust pipes, up to which the muffler end is jammed, the Canadians drilled the pipe and installed a 1/4" cotter pin as a register for the front end cover
I make replacement mufflers like these. The inner pipe is expanded to take the standard pipe. The shoulder created by the expansion is the register for the front cover. Allan from down under.
