Stretching the cab of a TT

I am the second owner of a closed cab (sort of) 1926 TT. In the 30s the orig owner had the top of the cab cut off just above the lower glass so he could drive under the prune trees in his orchard in Healdsburg, Ca. where the truck was bought and spent its life, until I bought it. The doors were also set aside and lost decades ago. I have decided to make wooden doors along with wood bed sides but I would also like to stretch the size of the cab at the door openings about a foot. It is a tight squeeze between the steering wheel and brake lever and the rear door post. In addition, this truck has a Ruckstell AND a chevy aux trans so I have two shift levers, with the trans lever right up close to the seat platform. Has anyone stretched the length of a cab to make more room for butts and legs? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
