Wedding cars.

We had a family wedding over the weekend.
The white sedan is a late 1960's GM Holden.
The T is my 1924 Tarrant Special tourer.
Tarrant Motors were the Victorian Ford distributors and like Duncan and Fraser in South Australia, they built their own bodies.
However, when they wanted a superior quality body with full leather upholstery, nickel plated fittings, rubber covered running boards, with kick plates and 4.40 balloon tyres, they had the bodies built by Holden's in Adelaide, South Australia. Holden's were contract body builders for many makes of cars, from diminutive Austin 7's up. In the late 1920's Holden's became part of GM. So my car is a unique collaboration between Ford and soon to be GM. Allan from down under.
