Pickup bed attachment hardware

Post by fordt » Mon Dec 02, 2024 2:15 pm

What is the size and type of these bolts that hold the 26-27 pickup bed to the frame? I’m thinking hex head and fine thread, but size and length? I know they have to pass all the way through the frame and the wood blocks up in the frame…. Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a Model A box?

The bed is correct for a 26-27, here is the parts drawing of the T bed.

The bed fasteners are hex bolts, with washer under, the length don't recall, but the bolt dia. should fit the hole in the bed flange and into the runabout body subframe. The bolts in photo are original fasteners reused.
