I am working on restoring this car back to it's glory days, I currently have no top, but I have this old picture from 1952 showing a hard top installed on the car, the story was that they found a top from a truck of some sort that fit well on the T. Would anybody be able to chime in maybe with some idea of what this top may have came off of?

It could have been an accessory top.

It looks a lot like it could be a 49 Dodge 5 window pickup top that was narrowed down to fit and then the 4th and fifth windows altered into side windows.

Or a top from about any pickup of that era and maybe the side windows are rear split windows turned 90 degrees.

Jeff, you could make your own. When I was a kid there was a convertible Vauxhall tourer which turned up at Sunday services regularly. The top material had been replaced with sheet metal. You'd only need three pieces for a Roadster. This keep the original appearance of the car, but guarantees long service and no leaks. The only drawback was it could not be folded anymore.

Allan from down under.

Thank you fellas, i appreciate your input, i will look deeper into all 3 of these ideas. i looked at some pictures of the dodge roof and it does look very similar so maybe it was a homemade job, possibly done poorly, and that is why it has disappeared over the years.
