Does anyone know of a source for replacement mirrors for a Rushmore Searchlight? Appropriate 7” diameter.

Bump for knowledge. Aren’t there any options for restoration of a Rushmore?

If you still have the original mirror and it just needs to be re-silvered, you may be able to find someone in your area to re-silver it for you.

Folks that do glass mirror re-silvering are few and far between these days, so you might have to send it somewhere. There is a fellow in St. Paul that does resilvering - Alchemy Mirror. (He re-silvered my bathroom mirror years ago and has done some lamp mirrors for the antique car guys here in the Twin Cities).

For reproduction mirrors, contact this outfit:

Anxious to find out if they are still in business. The web site has not been updated since 2009. I emailed them a couple of years ago and they had temporarily stopped the lamp operation due to some family stuff. They had purchased all the tooling, equipment etc from a guy in New Zeland and moved it all to the US, but as far as I know they never really opened up for business.
I will try and get some info on new reflectors from a friend who had some made for an early car he was restoring and will posst here when I get the details.
