I am confused. What is the year and basic body style of the car in picture 1. The lights say 1911-12. I know that Model Ts roadsters did not have turtle decks until 1913. A top like that would not be needed on an early coupe. It is not a 1913 - 14 roadster body. What is it?

Photo #11 of the boys either removing or putting in that engine, you can imagine that they took great care in making sure the pan was straight and everything aligned properly. Absolutely no doubt!

That Badlam's truck is a real stretch. I can't see any signs of a Form-a-truck conversion, so it may just be a stretch. They could have added another foot at the rear and it still would have had good proportions. perhaps it was a bedding delivery vehicle.

The first pboto has a 1913 IL license plate. The front plate for that year were designed to be mounted to the radiator and still allow for airflow.

It appears to be a brass era radiator, 1915/'16 style fenders. I have seen a number of extended chassis model Ts over the years, usually a foot or two (30 to 60 cm). This one appears to be about three to four feet (nearly a meter or maybe a bit more!)!
I wonder if the car was nearly new or a few years old when the alterations were done? The alterations appear to be nicely done? Painting looks good. Radiator brass may have been painted black?
The 1915 predates the TT, and the chassis may not be heavily supported? I wonder what sort of large size not terribly heavy loads this vehicle was intended to carry?
The extension work for the running boards and side aprons looks to be nicely done. I find myself wondering how well the chassis extension was done. Wheels appear to be Firestone type demountable rim wheels, a popular accessory at that time.
A close friend for many years had a lengthened chassis three seat touring car. The lengthening would have been about that much. I rode in it a few times. It held up and drove quite well. He often had it loaded with passengers.

What a sweet smile on that lady,3rd photo from the bottom, sitting on that ‘12 Torpedo runningboard eating her picnic meal. I feel most people camped out and prepared picnic meals for long car trips back in those days. Wimmen we’re hearty back then…
