I sold an item to a person in Canada. It appears that due to the Canadian postal workers strike that there is no USPS shipping to Canada available at this time. I tried UPS but the online calculator did not allow me to calculate shipping either.

To give you some idea when the current situation with mail to Canada will end here is the entire USPS announcement:
Canada Post strike

USPS suspension of acceptance of mail and packages bound for Canada continues at this time

Effective Dec. 23, 2024, the Postal Service has been advised by Canada Post that the strike by its employees has ended. USPS suspension of acceptance of mail and packages bound for Canada remains temporarily unchanged as we monitor Canada Post’s progress as they process the volumes that were staged during the strike. We anticipate reopening acceptance of Canada bound volume within the next two weeks and we appreciate our customers patience as we continue to monitor developments in Canada.

The Postal Service is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to update customers until the situation returns to normal.

The Canada Post strike is over and flowing as normal. I sent parts to Alaska on Monday without issue.
Just wait a few days and try again.

Australia Post will not accept articles for Canada due to the backlog. It has kept stuff out of the system so it is not clogged up this end also. I await developments.
