How often was there broken glass enough to warrant a truck just for it? Someday I'd like to own a TT......

TTs are slow, they are slow and umm, slow :-)

That said I do like my TT. Its nice getting places warm and dry in the cab while car drivers are rugged up with jackets and hats :-)

Fitting an overdrive helps driving speed a bit, but it will never be a speed machine.

I had and restored a TT many years ago. I was a few times clocked at 39 mph. It was a very stock 1925 motor, with 5 to 1 Ruckstell and a Universal (brand name) overdrive mounted on the rear end.

Adrian, your "Albert" is one of my all-time favorite TTs still in use!
