The bodywork on my 14 Runabout is almost finished and shoulld be ready to paint in the next couple of weeks. The body had a nasty patch on the back coverering a big rust hole and several subpar patches along the bottom under the door and on the driver side.

Keith, Yes on the black primer as the car will be dark blue. I can't decide between your DB332 OR Russ's DB904. I want it to look like this picture. I think it may be closer to the DB904? Art

It looks very good! You really know how to do a good repair and paint job. And you have an original body, not a reproduction! I restored one Model A many years ago. Then I did two Model T's. One thing I learned the hard way is not to take shortcuts. At first I thought that the finish coat would fill in the imperfections in the preparation. That was a big mistake. I also shimmed up the body from the bent chassis. Also a big mistake. I found that the car pulls to one side and I have to steer to one side just to keep straight on the road! Next one I did I checked out the chassis and got it straight first. Then I worked on the body. I got the filler as completely smooth as I could then put on primer and got it smooth first before putting on the finish coat. Came out much better. And the car runs straight on a flat road! Your car looks beautiful. :D
