Having had a 27 coupe for 55 years, plus, I am aware of many of the differences in the bodies and doors of 1926-27 coupes. One area where there was a difference was the trunk floor pan. Can anyone post side by side photos of the coupe trunk floor pans for both years for comparison? I know my 27 trunk floor pan is different from the replacement trunk floor which Howell's Sheet metal makes, which I assume is copied from a 26 floor pan.

I have a lot of photos of 26-27 coupe trunk floor pans that are not labeled by year. They do not look like the reproduction to me and I bought one. If you want to see a bunch of random photos, that I can do.

Since you already have a '27...there is a '26 coupe in the Richmond, Indiana MTFCA museum, serial #12,229,758. I have many photos of it, but none of the trunk floor pan because the deck lid was closed and I did not take the time to ask.

Found an early '26 coupe trunk floor pan.
A) There were three different wood battery covers and this example has the earliest wood.
B) The "C" pillar is early, like this one, if the foot rests on the floor, while newer one rest on the rail on the outer edge.
C) Early '26 coupes have two rear seat rests while later ones have one central seat rest.
D) The early side window brackets connect down to the seat back support, while later ones land straight down instead.

Here is a picture that I found of the trunk floor of my 26 Coupe with a build date of 5/6/1926. I can get a better picture if need be.
