What are these?

These large wing nut style studs were in with a bunch of T Parts.
Anybody know what there are for. 3/8 course thread steel stud w/ chrome plated brass wing nuts approx. 3 inches overall length.

They look like rocker cover bolts for dressing up an engine with over head valves. Popular for cars in the1950's, 60's, 70's, before all the EPA stuff hid engines.

You could buy dress up engine parts from JC Whitney, Western Auto, and other auto parts stores. These look like the type they sold for Rocker Arm and valve covers. Popular in the 50’s - 70’s along with lots of other types of engine chromed out parts.
If anybody here remembers port a walls this was the thing to buy to dress up your cars engine compartment.
