This is number 1... Anyone care to comment on the rest?

1. The Model T had no transmission, as we know it. There was a gearbox, but it only offered one speed. You would push the shift forward to take the vehicle out of neutral and engage the drive train. To go in reverse, you would depress a pedal on the floor.

My cars are all missing this;

13.All Model Ts were built with a permanently affixed jack stand on the rear axle. This would allow the owner to remove the rear wheel and place a flat belt on the hub. The car could then be used to power farm equipment. This was factory standard on all Model Ts, right up to the 15 millionth produced in 1927.

Model Ts didn't have key switch...30mph top speed, but the "speedster" could do 40mph !! So much misinformation.
I don't believe it was intended as satire.

I think the guy thinks he ‘knows’ about Model T’s but in reality he really doesn’t. When he says they didn’t have a key switch I think he referring to a key switch that you insert a key, turn the switch and the car starts. Of course they had a switch you just directly start the car with it. Maybe half satire and maybe not. Maybe a self appointed expert who really isn’t!

Need to add the word didn’t between just and directly in my last post!

Rather than leaving a reply in regards to "your wrong" I took a different approach as to "if you want to post facts you need a source to document" as I am positive this person will do similar "articles" on lots of other topics he has not researched.
