I saw this in the Service Bulletins and wanted to ask if anyone might have an example of this spacer?

I have a couple.

Is it really a spacer, or is it an adapter to be able to use the newer screw-in magneto post used of the improved T's on an earlier car.

Reading the description of the new spacer it seems like it’s made to replace the older style magneto contact with the later contact using the same screws. I don’t recall seeing one.
It does seem to be an adapter to me.

Whatever the reason for its production, it sure simplifies removing the mag. post for maintenance !

I was looking through the online auction at Bobs and saw that he had a box of them, lot #458

Bob Senior had tons of NOS parts - I went for a visit back 25+ years ago and I was like a kid in a candy store !!!

I have a few of em too. They’re adapters.

Thank you for those that responded. Hard to imagine that there was a "real" need for this spacer (Ford called/labeled it a spacer, it is a spacer albeit to adapt the later magneto post to fit), but more than one person must have thought so. For those that have them, is it a cast iron or more of a zinc diecast?
