I saw this on one of the Model T facebook sites and ordered one. Very well made and only $30 including shipping. Not sure if it’s solid brass but judging by the weight, it could be. I’m checking with the person I ordered it from on options for the MTFCA.

This is a 100 year badge that is availalbe from the Model T Ford Club International. If you attend an Internationl tour when your car turns 100 years old, you get a "free" badge, so if your Model T was built in 1925, and you attend the tour in MN this summer, you will receive a badge free!! Hmmm… I didn’t know about the “free” part. I bought one for my ‘24 touring before the Cadillac, MI tour last year.

Kenny, they are brass plated zinc. If you bought yours for $30 from someone on Facebook, they made $10 off of you. They are available for $20 on the MTFCI web store.

I rounded up. And the price was with shipping.

I bought mine - never heard the free part. Then again, my car was already 100 years old. Rather than attach it to the radiator I attached it to a piece of aluminum with a couple of pop-rivets and made it into a license plate topper.

I attached a piece of velcro to the back of my badge. The other piece of velcro is glued to the windshield. I can remove it if I want to, and no damage to the radiator.

Russ, unfortunately many of the National Tour attendees never received these 'free badges' because the offer was never made available to the members beginning with the 2009 Annual Tour when the 1909s became 100 y.o. (I know this because I was the Tour Chairman for the '09 Tour.)

The same thing applied in quite a few subsequent years of participants who attended the MTFCI National Tour with a 100 y.o. Model-T. Did you give them out for your 2013 Canyonlands Tour? Maybe someone would know but I think it has been mentioned/discussed that there were more years of eligible participants that did not receive their 100 year badge than those who did.

If you mount it like Tim did. it will be even cooler!

From June 2022 when the Coupe turned 100 years.

Yes, I agree Russ. That was my point. The majority of cars that have attended a MTFCI Annual Tour on the year their vehicle reached 100 y.o. have not / were not given one of these "free" badges by Gord. Why is that??

Now I realize that you and I are both off of the Board but don't you would think that if the Club is using the entire Membership's dues to support this gift of such significance, wouldn't logic have suggested it would be appropriate to go back to each year's tour and send a badge to all the prior attendees who attended the Annual Tour on the same year when their vehicles became a Centennial car?

(Definitely not a difficult item to rectify. The Club's magazine following each year's July tour has a centerfold picture spread that shows a small image with the caption of each car attendee's name, ...and what vehicle they participated with on that Tour. Send the tour participant a badge if their vehicle was eligible on that year's tour. Definitely less appearance of favoritism or oversight if all eligible members received their free commemoration badge.)

I followed LarryWalla’s lead and used adhesive rubber magnet sheet and stuck it on the dash.

I did touch base with Rachel about getting the badges made with the MTFCA on them. I spoke with the person I ordered from and he had no issues with sharing the information (which he shouldn’t since we’re all in this together) and sent the information to Rachel. I drive my T a lot and having the badge is just another thing to strike up conversations with. Kind of fun driving around 100 year old cars.

I understand that the HCCA also has centennial badges available.
