Re the front bearing; Have you contacted the suppliers yourself? Try Chaffin's.

I have contacted all the main suppliers & the man that made the new cam bearings has had problems with the foundery that supplied the blanks & cannot supply at this time. I need to find someone with an extra set or maybe someone else is now making them? HELP John - PS Glen C is the one who told me the sad story!

Hi John,
I believe that Gene French sells re-babbited bearings. Might try to reach out to him.

The longer early bearings can be turned down shorter for the later front bearing, done it many times to have a good fit for shaft end play.

If the usual T suppliers don't have the red rubber hose for your lights, then try Restoration Supply Co. They have 2 grades I believe. One is just like the original stuff, (supposedly), and the other is also pretty nice.
