Does anyone know of a current source for the gear reduction 12v starters? We need one within the next few weeks.
TIA

These guys are the US WOSP distributors

I have two of these and they work great.
Here is the 6 volt version

Thanks Rod. Unfortunately they do not have any in stock and (-like everyone else) they are backordering them also. The issue is the shafts for the T units are backordered from the manufacturer's supplier, so we are back to the same timeframe of hopefully some time in the Fall.

Are these things a "need" or a want? With the new stuff our forum administrator is supplying, there is even less "need' to replace an original T starter. This is one area where "If it's broke, you can fix it."

I've got a new, never installed one that I bought from CHAFFINS. Paid $439.95 plus shipping for it. Will sell for same price, but the shipping is on your DIME.

FWIW - it seems Neil Tuckett in the UK have at least one 12V version in stock.
