I think I know the answer but I will ask anyway. I just installed a Texas T Alternator on my 1918 touring. I did not realize that it is a 12 volt alternator. I use an 8 volt battery because I like it and I want to. The question is>>>>Is it OK to have this 12 volt alternator with an 8 volt battery. If not, what are my options besides taking the alternator off. Thanks in advance.
