Hoping to build a thread with any history on the “Giant Speed Equipment". I’m guessing they were active in Los Angeles area in the 50s or 60s? I picked up a Gemsa flathead for my T, and noticed how similar the lettering was between the Gemsa and the Giant.

Yep! The heads use the Haibe patented combustion chamber. Chaffin sold a Giant Power sump a while back, missed it.

This old Giant Equipment brochure was posted on Facebook back in may. Judging by the early phone number it’s 1950s, since they changed to the 7 digit phone numbers in 1958-59.
