Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this. I found it in the 1912 I brought home this last weekend.

Also previously posted, for 1913.

NOTE THERE IS NO JACK MENTIONED IN 1912, BUT BEGINNING IN 1913 IT APPEARS. AS JACK AND HANDLE

Did anyone notice the date on the 1912 sheet?

Hi D, what caught your eye about the date?

If you're calling out April 15th (Tax Day), because it's the modern due date for filing US Federal Income tax, the 16th amendment was not ratified until 1913. The 16th amendment allowed Congress to enact a national income tax in October 1913 on personal incomes over $3000. The filing deadline for individuals was March 1 for the first years of federal income tax, and was changed to March 15 in 1918 and again to April 15 in 1955.

While there are number of more modern references to April 15, like Jackie Robinson Day, National Laundry Day, National Glazed Spiral Ham Day, and National Take a Wild Guess Day, it is also considered Titanic Remembrance Day.

The RMS Titanic struck an iceberg on the night of April 14, 1912 and sank in the early hours of April 15, taking the lives of over 1500 passengers and crew.

Keep crankin',
Eric

Here you go Bill. This is the 12 as we pulled it out of the shed it had been in since 1960.

Hi D, what caught your eye about the date?

I was referring to the Titanic.
I try not to think of tax day.
Come to think of it, both events are depressing.

I find it interesting that the Speedometer wrench is listed on an April 1912 tool list.
I though the threaded speedometer pinion gear nut was a feature for 1911 only?
