What are these?

Got some of these nos. I know they are good rod support, but for what? I found 4002 in parts catalog the are for later cars. Are these for 17/22 wood firewall cars? Thanks Dan

Look like hood hinge pivot brackets to me. Just not for Fords

I think I have answered my own question. Looked in Bruce’s book, page 258 , 1917-1920 wood firewall hood support.
See top left corner where yellow circle is.
