It looks like a standard chassis to me.
I was going to desigh a trailer or Depot hack with this design. The cot springs double as screen sides.

Looking over his shoulder looks like the bell to a horn, but it looks rather large. Maybe a siren? I love the Boston terrier in the back with the kids! I bet they had great fun!

Kieth, Tim, I agree with both of you ! And I’m curious about the T. To me, it looks too short for a TT, but the heavy rear wheel looks TT. Special chassis ? Optical illusion ?
The camper body looks ingenious. I bet those kids had a lot of fun on that trip.

My first thought it was a contemporary wheel off a Chevrolet. But probably an aftermarket buy, the six lugs indicating a slightly heavier wheel?
