ALUMINUM TIMING GEAR SOURCE
Hi Folks. I'm on a search for an aluminum .005 oversize timing gear. I understand the gear manufacturer for the usual parts dealers is serionuisly behind in production. Langs estimates a lengthy wait for order fulfillment. Got any suggestions??

Check with Bobs Antique auto parts. He had T parts I needed when the others were out of stock.

Dan McEachern Gear works in Alameada makes the best timing gears for a Model T. His Bronze one is amazing! I believe he supplies many vendors possibly.

Re: ALUMINUM TIMING GEAR SOURCE
Thanks Gene, I am looking to replace my Dan McEachern brass gear because it is oversized. I believe I'm running and original steel crank gear that is worn out or maybe the last babbit job was out of whack. Anyways I need a larger gear to get rid of the slop--the rattle is driving me crazy!!!

Re: ALUMINUM TIMING GEAR SOURCE
If you need an oversize cam gear, I have a pretty good assortment of them in stock. Not sure what you mean that your bronze gear is undersize unless it was a special that we intentionally cut undersize for some reason in the past. My e-mail is dmcgearsatyahoodotcom. replace the at and dot with the usual. Dan
