Anyone have the Rich Baughman AC Brake linkage setup that would be willing to share the dimensions for the rods from the brake pedal to the bellcrank and the rods from the bellcrank to the brakes? Also, if you have the instructions that came with the linkage set?

I'll look also. I was at Rich's place when he was getting ready to move. I got all the drawings, instructions and tooling to make a set for
my car.

Rich's wife sent me a few pages of drawings but most of the detail was on how to make the bellcrank. I would love to have a full set of drawings and dimensions for the complete kit.

Does anyone know if Daniel Bennett is still manufacturing the AC Brakes after Larrry Sidmore passed? I had his card from Chickasha 2 years ago. I have tried contacting him by phone and email from the ad i saw on the forum, with no response. Maybe i don't have current contact information. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

David

Yes, David he is. I got mine from Daniel in late winter. He is kind of a hard fellow to get ahold of. I sent you a PM with his contact info....

A-C did make a Heavy Duty set, with larger external band, special drum …. and used rods.

I've tried to convey this in the past, but to no avail. Here is another view showing that the rod version also has an equalizer to ensure both sides pull evenly.

Interesting.
I notice the rod clevises mount to a small plate that acts as an equalizer.
The secondary pull rod has a spring to remove the slack from the system.
