Old Photo - the Irma Hotel
Buffalo Bill Cody named the Hotel after his Daughter Irma in 1902. The White Touring Car is certainly a Model T era vehicle. The license plate suggests 1913.
When did I do that?

Re: Old Photo - the Irma Hotel
FWIW, I believe the fellow driving the White steamer is "Ranger Bill Miller" (1878-1939) an actor and film director who was a Texas Ranger, toured with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show for a time, and claimed (falsely) to have been Wm. F. Cody's adopted son.

Re: Old Photo - the Irma Hotel
I believe the White car is gasoline rather than steam. Interesting about "Ranger Bill Miller".
Thanks

Thanks Rich. Dunno why I always seem to think "steam" first when there's a White !

Re: Old Photo - the Irma Hotel
This one is several places on the web. One caption reads "Buffalo Bill Cody and family in front of his Irma Hotel". Another one says Irma is the child he is holding.

Re: Old Photo - the Irma Hotel
Irma was born in 1883. That's probably not who he's holding.
