Does anyone have any experience with the Safety hub and drum that Snyder sell ? Looks like you run lined shoes and an equalizer to get service brakes. Not cheap but I like the idea. I have Rocky Mountains on my pick up, pretty satisfied with them. I do not want the disks. It looks like it is possible to keep my Hassler shocks with these brakes unlike the Rocky Mountains.

What does this kit use fir brake shoes? I wouldn’t expect a stock lined shoe to give satisfactory service.

Seems with those drums only external shoes are fitted.
Prefer to stay with Ford drums with internal emergency brake shoes, and with added Rocky Mtn external , plus keeping trans brake band in place and connected, provides more complete stopping and parking means.

I had one of those equalizers on my car for a short while. Rocky Mountain brakes are better, but I think there was a little bit of benefit to that setup.
