Are there oilers on the parking brake bushings on the 26-27?

There is a hole in the rear axle housing where the bushing for the brake cam goes. It looks like it is for oiling the bushing. Was there an oiler for this? It seems like oiling this would allow oil into the inside of the brake drum, but who knows.

I believe they had the little flip top oilers. It would probably be best to oil them sparingly.

Yes an oiler goes there. Only a couple of squirts of oil will fit. I have never had a problem with oil and the parking brake.
