That first picture showing the Oshkosh B'Gosh ad on the vendors box would be a good one for Allan Bennett, our Forum friend from Australia who likes bib overalls and wears them often.

G'day Allen..... :)

#1.
How do you suppose that box mounted to the coupe. Fuel tank was in the trunk.
Would they have cut the trunk off? Would they have removed the trunk lid & Built the box around the existing trunk?

It could be the B’Gosh box is sitting over the rear trunk. Looks like there would be enough room to access the gas tank through the back doors of the B’Gosh box. But that’s a guess.

#6 is intriguing ! It appears to be an assembly plant for right-hand drive cars, 1915-16. Australia ? UK ?

Probably earlier. Note head light forks - acetylene.

The peddlers box looks like the one offered for sale a week or so ago.

Good call ! I was swayed by the shape of the dash, pre-1915 would be a full width panel wouldn’t it ? Also, difficult to tell, but the rear axle housing looks more like 1915 than the previous “pumpkins”. Any road, a great photo !

Our RHD cars were Canadian sourced. 1915 models with the dash/hood as shown were commonly fitted with electric lights on forks previously used on gas lamps.

Keith, I bought a pair of previously worn Oshkosh bibs on ebay once. USA made. I managed to wear them out. Now Oshkosh make designer kids clothes!!!!

Allan from down under.
