I just picked up 1 and 2/3 set of Scandinavia Bands. I took them out of the box and looked at them. They have Scandinavia written on the band material, and are 23 & 1/2 inches long. I am wondering, if these are original Scandinavia bands. If so, how do I tell?
They are stiff but pliable, could I potentially use them yet?

Soak them in oil a few days. They will work just fine. Look real deal to me.

A good idea. If they smell musty, be sure they aren’t rotten. Pull a thread loose and make sure it’s sound. If so, no reason not to use them. These are the “real deal”.

Another thought, if you are going to use them, rivet them to the bands before you soak them - it will be less messy.

Original and older Scandinavia linings are marked Scandinavia with paint, newer ones are not. The one you posted looks usable to me. I prefer to use the older cotton linings over anything that is available as new today.

Boy, that's great! They are a little stiff and slightly musty but they do seem pretty sound. I will save them and potentially use them later.

Original, for sure ! Originals are 23 & 1/2" in length & stenciled. Same here - if they don't smell "musty", they're most likely fine for use - I prefer Scandinavia linings myself in my 4 Model Ts !

I'm with Steve. I have a half dozen old stock Scandanavia band linings, which should last me the rest of my life!
