What are the road rules for Model T's and other vintage cars in the state of Pennsylvania? May be moving there someday and Id like to know what I have to look forward to.

Perhaps best to contact that State's DMV.

This may be useful: https://forums.aaca.org/topic/118203-an ... t-driving/

I like the rural roads we have in many parts of Pennsylvania where early cars still seem pretty much at home. I don't know how old you will be when you come, but there are better states to live in when you die. The inheritance tax here is a big disadvantage.

Here are the specifics for antique vehicles from Pennsylvania DOT
https://www.pa.gov/content/dam/copapwp- ... fs-ant.pdf
Most discusses plates & distinction of Class & Antique Vehicles
INSPECTION
Classic vehicles are subject to an annual vehicle safety inspection. Antique vehicles operated
exclusively between sunrise and sunset are exempt from the normal lighting requirements of the
Pennsylvania Vehicle Code but must have their original lighting equipment. Antique vehicles are
not subject to the annual vehicle safety inspection. Antique and classic vehicles are not subject
to emissions inspection.

One nice thing is that we have tag and license vendors who contract with dmv (PENNDOT), which makes the registration process convenient in terms of travel time, location, etc. Follow the guidelines noted and you shouldn't have an issue. Importantly, you are NOT required to bring your vehicle in for inspection and vin number verification, nor have a law enforcement official do likewise where the vehicle is kept. Just come prepared. Remember the golden rule: Be polite, and offer no additional informaton not asked.
