Has anyone ever set up a pointer/ mark on a T motor for TDC? Just asking, since I use a Bosch front plate.

It has been done at the Speedster Reunion to get dynometer readings, so it should work for you.

I just use a fine line paint pin and put a mark on the back of the pulley and the timing cover.

If you have an aluminum pulley you can use the split for a timing mark. On stock pulleys on run the paint marks around the back a little away from the belt.

True! And very handy. Just be sure when you install the pulley to align the split with #1 TDC and not BDC, (bottom-dead-center).
