Tire sizes

Me again with more tire questions. Trying to find something that will fit before Coker's sale ends. What I have now are 2 rims that measure 22 3/4 inside, 24 1/4 outside and are 2 7/8 wide outside. Appear to be 2 1/2 inside rim width. All measurements are in inches.
I was looking at the universal T drivers, part number 79633. I already have a pair of 805975 that look like they will fit these rims. Super nice guy at Lang's told me what to get for the wheels I'm getting from them, but I don't have them yet to compare.
Any help is appreciated.

Will need wheel/rim photos to identify just what you're attempting to install tires onto ! Demountable rims or clinchers ?

They are demountable. I'll see if I can figure out how to post a picture or 2.

IMO search for better clincher rims, that rim has too sharp clincher bead and will cut a new tire quickly.

This is a new tire ruined by sharp clincher bead.

This clincher rim is rusted too much, flaky rust in the rim, and the clincher bead rusted away to knife sharp edge that will cut the tire.

The clincher rims need to have rounded smooth bead of 1/8" or so, to protect the clincher tire.

I figured they were a bit rough. More parts to order, yay! Thanks for the info.

Ok, that narrows it down. Thanks.

I measured my non-demountable rims,
30x3” rims are 24” in diameter, with a tread width of 2-1/2”

30x3-1/2” rims are 23” in diameter with a tread width of 3”.

What am I missing ?

(I realize Henry never supplied 30x3” demountable rims, and I’ll freely admit I’ve never seen one, but a lot of oddball items from the era do turn up  )
