I too am sorry to hear that. John purchased some parts from me also and I enjoyed talking with him on the phone. He talked like he had known me for years.I knew he had been having some serious health issues related to Agent Orange. I will miss him. Dave

Oh no ! I've talked with John several times and just sold him a set of Rocky Mountain Brakes. We talked at length about his health problems....so sad.

Wow. I swear I was in touch with him not more than a month ago. Sold a part or two to him too.
Was a great guy. Damn we never know when our time is up do we? Thats why I try to enjoy life as much as possible and drive the T as much as possible. Just got in from an excellent short 33 mile jaunt to the next town along the lake and back. RIP John. Prayers to his family.

I talked with John several times on the phone but never had the pleasure of meeting him. Being in Iola yesterday, I could have gone to his service in Menasha as it isn't that far away, but didn't know about it. He was a recent member of our Dairyland Tin Lizzies MTFCA Chapter, but had not yet been to any of our events.
Rest in peace, John. You are in our prayers.

A year ago I did an inspection for a car locally that John was looking into buying. What a great guy!

This is Terrible News!

I considered John more than a customer, he was a friend & I had been to his place several times over the years. We were also friends on Facebook. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war & had many health related issues due to "Agent Orange" that he battled with daily. I will miss him greatly as I am sure many others in our hobby will as well.

R.I.P. John, we will not forget you.

God bless
Bill

It's a bit disconcerting when I hear of the passing of younger folks. Earlier this year John bought a local TT after I put him in touch with the owner. I wish he'd had more time to enjoy it.
