Car to Truck 'Shade Tree' Conversion

A neat 'period' conversion barn find is up for sale locally. I thought you may be intrigued with the car to TT rear axle conversion that was done (these are the only pictures):

Looks like a 26-27 T touring cut off and mounted on a TT chassis way back when.
The newest ‘shade tree’ parts are the rear wheels made in the 40’s-50’s. The front are in the 30’s. A farm, junk yard put together conversion.

Its a car chassis reinforced with bits of iron and a whopper spring. I guess you make do with what you have when cash is tight :-)

Well, it's not a TT frame, and interesting use of a mating plate to adapt a car torque tube, ya wonder what happened to the TT torque tube given it would have to use a TT drive shaft (shortened as well), not a car ds, to spline into the worm.
Use what ya got!
