13 photos of touring/roadsters with top Down (some in winter) and only 1 photo of touring with top Up. What’s going on with the rear springs and rear end truss on the deer hunter touring ? Thanks again Tom for starting my morning off right……

#13 shows two gentlemen, standing to the right of the photo, who appear to have fought on opposite sides of the civil war.

….and they obviously have redundant lighting capability.

Photo #6 is interesting in that two completed Ford's pulling (note chains) six freshly built models. Did the six new builds just arrive by ship, or are they ready to be loaded?

Yep theres nothing like being out on the open road in an OPEN car! That means TOP DOWN! Those who keep it up are missing 2/3 of the enjoyment. Gotta be dang blistering hot for me to finally put the top up and even then I'll just hop in the Fordor, open all the windows including top half of windshield and its comfy and relatively cool! Just my weird liking I guess. To each his own.

Could be but a good new looking '14 anyway with shiny paint that won't last 6 months. At least the horn is black and mounted correctly!

I think I am seeing demountable rims & the crappy repop mirror is a clue.

AI . I agree. Recent restoration inserted into a photo of a mine entrance.

No 2 also looks to have 30 x 3.5" tyres all round.

The wheels and rims are painted black. However, if you zoom in close, you should be able to see several of the silver lug nuts on the front and rear wheel. They appear to be four lug rims, not the five lug like nearly all the brass era after-market demountable rim wheels. Hence the wheels appear to be the typical 1920s Ford factory demountable rim wheels.
Along with a few other minor anomalies, like the modern style rear view mirror (possible it could be an era accessory, however that style was not very common on model Ts in the era), why a few people are calling "foul" as a likely AI fake.

Definitely Agree. #2 picture is not of the same era. If you zoom on it, everything in the picture including the landscape is way too clear for a photograph of that time period. All the other photographs are grainy and less clear, as would be the case with the photography equipment of that time. I don't think AI, just looks like a newer picture.

Interesting lineup in the first picture seems to
have Bob Burman's Indy Keeton 4-car at the left.

Photo 2 isn’t AI generated but was taken a few weeks ago in Southern California by a friend of mine. Attached is the original. The lack of prestolite tank or generator is because the lamps were changed over to electric lighting for an attempted run from California to OCF last fall. He made it there but broke an axle shaft in the Rockies on the way back.

Thank you for clearing that up. It looks like a fine touring car.

Yep thanks. Had a lot of us wondering what was going on ha ha.
And I'm sure Original Smith is glad to see the horn is mounted correctly! Me too for that matter.
