On the right side of the car of the rear end, is there supposed to be a drain plug on the far end of the axle housing on the underside just before where the brake housing is riveted to the housing?

People have put weep holes at the ends, but not factory.

The right side of a LHD car is on the low side of the road camber. That means any excess oil leaking down the driveshaft and into the axle housing will gravitate to the right side housing. A weep hole lets that excess out before it gets all over the brake shoes and drum and then the wheel. it is not a factory fix.
