for those wanting an engine rebuilt for this years touring season. We have just enough time to do one more engine and get it back to you before we leave. I’m planning a 5,000 mile trip to AZ and back for the entire month of June. The trip will be filmed and posted to youtube, potential filmed destinations include the AACA museum in Hershey, and Speedy Bills Museum in Lincoln Nebraska if they still have the massive collection of Model T engines and accessories there. If you have other suggestions on what T-related things we should film for the channel please speak up. If you want an engine rebuilt before fall - get in touch so we can get started on it NOW. The goal is to get everything here done and out before May 31st, and reopening the shop in July. If you want to help with the trip - we’re looking for “super thanks”, patreon supporters, and video sponsors. Gas alone is expected to cost over $4,000! For those interested in the video series - we’ll be upgrading my grandparents (Gen 1) RV with solar and some engine upgrades before we head out. This camper has towed a Model T all over the country, but this time it’s going to be pulling a Jeep (maybe).

When you get to Tucson, go to the "Rolling Through Time Auto Museum" in Tucson! It has one of EVERY YEAR of Model T Ford, plus a lot of special ones, such as a 4-wheel drive Model T, and a WWI Model T ambulance! There are probably 350 to 400 cars in the museum, (NOT JUST FORDS!) and all of them are outstanding. They also have displays of fire trucks, cameras, some horse drawn buggies and wagons, radios, bicycles, and fire engines, and agricultural engines and even bulldozers. It is an UNBELIEVABLE collection, and the museums also acts as the home of the local Model T, Model A, and V-8 Ford clubs. Notable is that this museum has a fully functional Model T and Model A engine rebuilding shop, with KR Wilson and other top tools from the 20's and 30's, all in virtually DAILY use in pouring babbitt, rebuilding engines all year around, run and operated by many of the people who have been using the equipment for many years before it was donated specifically to be actively used at the museum to keep Model T's and Model A's on the road, both for local hobbyists, and also for people who ship or bring engines from far away.
