Just thought some of you would enjoy watching this.

Great video but a lot of mistakes in it also. Are the Scatt cracks made for a T length? What head would you use on a T that the pistons
only come flush or a little more from the top of the block?

Absolutely Scat manufactures cranks that are compatible with a Model T block. Requiring no additional machining to the block. These cranks are standard size on the mains and the rods. The only additional modification is to the horse shoe (rear of the inspection cover) needs to be addressed for clearance of the rod throw on a three dip pan, or splitting the same to clear the counter balance on a four dip pan.

They also offer a stroker crank with 1.590’ mains and 1.500” rods. Larger main caps and bolts are needed, recommend you contact Dan at DMC Gears for a source he makes great products. Block mains and caps will need to be bore out to 1.700”which provides a .0545” thick lay of Babbitt after line boring the Babbitt. Distance between the main cap bolts is 1.750’. In addition to the horse shoe mods mention above the oil pan will need to be dimpled for clearance of the rods.

Mike makes perfect sense. There is no need for the "dog chasing tail" scenario of modification fix a previous modification and then having to repeat same over again. The stuff to do what has been done in the video is all available. There is no need to re-invent the wheel at every step.
