That photo was taken in 1912 in Fairplay, Colorado. Since George was the proprietor at that time, he would have been one the oldest HCCA club members.

Thank you, Scott!
I will have to look through my HCCA Gazettes, and see if I can find mention of him. One of our long deceased HCCA local chapter members used to talk about him amidst very interesting stories. I wonder if THIS IS ACTULLY the George Teter I am thinking about.

Scott, I saw that location, but the building sign says established 1903, which is before the photo and unfortunately, it does not match.

LLoyds of London was established in 1688. What if they put "established in 1688" on a new building? A logo means nothing. FWIW, I can't tell if it's the same building horrifically remodeled or if it's a different one., but the fact is, based on multiple sources of documentation, that this photo was taken in Sault Sainte Marie.
From same city, Historic Building register - another building (a warehouse) a few blocks away from the subject building - same owner, same business:
CUT/PASTE:

Well, the address of the "Est. 1903" building is also 200. It seems that 208 is now a parking lot. Nonetheless, that's the site of the photo... regardless of when it was taken.
