Had horn apart. Cleaned it, bench tested it. Cleaned switch, tested wires, power to horn is good. Cleaned mounts on the head and water inletof rust and paint. If I run a ground wire to the body of the horn, I get a loud sick cow sound. Why is it not grounding through mounts?

Dallas, did you take the horn off the bracket and clean there also ?
Should ground through the bracket, so something is dirty between the path...
