There are no numbers or letters other than the Ford logo.

I think you stumped us Steve. It sure looks like it's related to a brake pedal and the slot could allow the arm to travel some distance before engaging. I've never seem those parts. Was that Ford script used later than the Ts? I couldn't see anything like that on TTs, Model As or V-8s.
Good question.

When those pictures appeared on the Model T Ford Club of Argentina FB page I didn't recognize the piece as anything off a T. Nobody could ID it there or here, so it's an international mystery.

Finally logged in using a temp password. Looking at this it looks more like a piece of transmission linkage for a much newer Ford product. Just a guess but I believe we're all thinking it's older than it really is.

I’m thinking that piece is off of the later Ford tractors after 1954. But then I don’t remember seeing the Ford logo on the ones I worked on. Maybe I didn’t notice. Ford made farm equipment implements for a while and I have some. They have a Ford tag riveted to the framework but the small parts don’t any Ford logo embossed on them that I’ve seen. Ford tractor wrenches also had the logo.
Interesting to know what the part came off of!
