...All I know is that it’s not Ruckstell. Anybody know? It matches the forward end collar of the T torque tube...

The early Hall-Scott shifter mount for the TT truck was similar - mounts to the 2 right side ball cap bolts, top & bottom - not the top 2.

I worked on a T buckboard with a Ruckstel that had two of those brackets, one on each side of the ball housing. The standard Ruckstel shifter was mounted between them.

Doesn't look like anything Ruckstell ever made to me! I don't even think the two holes line up with the ball cap.

George, if it matches the ball cap holes, I’d be interested in it. I’m still working something up for my jumbo planatar. Tmorsher@icloud.com if you want to discuss.

Here is the complete set up.
It was operating the ruckstell in our 25. (Similar to what Allan saw)
It has LH and RH cast into each side and part Nos 2056 and 2057 stamped in.

That's the one Bruce. At the time I was working on the buckboard, I was pondering whether the lever could be mounted to the left or right by switching it in the mounting brackets. I think it is possible, but wonder if there is any advantage.

I believe that due to the TT having the battery box next to the running board, the shift rod going rearward goes straight back whereas on the passenger car equipped w/electric starting equipment with the factory battery holder, the shift lever goes to the passenger side to cross over the torque tube in order to miss the battery.
