The local weekly newspaper learned the our T will be 100 years old on July 30 and wanted to do a story about it.
They called me this morning and we setup an appointment at 2:30 today.

I took the T out of the garage, gave them hard and electronic copies paper that gives all of its history with pictures, and talked about the T, Henry Ford, and the T hobby.
They took a bunch of pictures (most with me in them) and made a lot of notes.

The paper will come out on Friday — it should be interesting to see what they say

If it was like the time I was interviewed by a newspaper it will go something like this: You have a nice Model A. It was the first car ever made in a factory. You bought it new. And Henry only hired tea-totallers and that's why the union came to his place.

Hopefully with pre-printed info, your article will be a little more factual!

Or - (pointing at the crank handle) "How far do you get before you have to wind it up again?"

(The worry is that we actually believe (some/most/all) of the stuff the news folk publish...…)

The newspaper published the article about the soon to be 100 year old Model T.
It is online so I’ll try to post a link when I am on my computer instead of my iPad.
In the meantime it can be found at the Exeter Newsletter Seacoast online web sight.
They got about 80% of the info correct

They left out the part where I said that my son is very interested in the car and want’s it to stay as original as possible.
They also failed to mention the the original motor has never been rebuilt or even freshened up, but they did OK presentation of the vehicle and my general thoughts.

I went to another car show this weekend with the T.
It was the 350th anniversary of Kingston NH and around 300 cars showed up.
They didn’t have classes but gave about 20 trophies for people’s choice.

I couple people mentioned that they had seen the newspaper article with pictures and said that the car was more impressive in person.
The T got one of the 20 trophies.
