Running for the first time since 1950s

It took me over a year but anouther one lives.

The last time this T ran my dad was a teen and he and his buddy drove it into the woods where it died. It sat there for many years until being rescued and dragged to a barn. Cow barn to cow barn for the next 50 years. The car still smells like cow pee sometimes.

2 hours a day 6 days a week for 12 months. Everything cleaned, repaired, rebuilt.

Few minor leaks, a lesson in clutch adjustment, then I'll be ready to start on the body.

I have to say I was very nervous about cranking it. This is the first T engine and transmission I have ever rebuilt. It was a sweat moment when it fired right up and purred like new.

Outstanding Jim.

The caution tape is a good idea. You don't want to find those brackets the hard way.

Did you happen to capture the event on video?

I did get 2 video clips with my phone. I would try and post them but in the back ground is my political sign for 2020. I think the forum should be about Ts not bad politicians.

Good job Jim !! What a wonderful feeling when “life” reappears in an entity after 6 decades. Your dad would be outstandingly proud of you ! Thanks for sharing. Now, what body style do you have in mind? I think there’s a nice ‘23 touring body on the Classifieds fairly reasonable. If it’s a late ‘23, it’d fit

ahh, hmmm

My project now has a 4x2 length screwed across the gap[ between the brackets....

Should protect the shins a bit better.... :-)
