I thought there were pics on here from the NLNB pre run, but couldn’t find them. Here is friend Rick Linder and Clara under speed. I’m surprised someone there in minnysoto has a high speed camera, so a great shot ! Perhaps the photo taker can take credit.

Wifey and I were able to ride for a day with Rick and Clara about a dozen years ago. Caused the 2 cylinder bug bite in me.

Tim, I've caught a glimpse of a car very similar to that, driving past my house. Not enough to make it out well.
Is he in my area ?

He is in northern Columbus, but I did give him your contact info awhile back. You shouldn’t have left the pitty out when he went by !

I spoke to a local HCCA and MTFCA member, Gil F. (from NJ) on Sunday.
He said he was going to participate with his Curved Dash Olds.
I'd love to see a photo of his car in action.

Best of luck and many safe miles to all participants.

Wonderful pictures Jeff P! Thank you for sharing them, here and elsewhere. I enjoyed looking at them very much. Too bad the rain put a bit of a damper on the day, looks like a pretty wet day for sure.
A few cars I know, mostly from the internet friends, and all them them beautiful!
Again, thank you very much.

I drove it in my Curved Dash Oldsmobile. The usual great organization, support from police, and enthusiasm from bystanders. A wonderful assortment of early cars. The rain wasn't quite biblical, but it seemed that way sometimes. I didn't get to a hot shower until 9:30 pm. When I finally got undressed, I found a tiny duckling swimming in my belly button. Yes, it was wet!

Long ago there were some who would say the model K in this case a 6-40 was a flop. Once again Rob proves that wrong by towing in the first down!Good on ya Rob! Bud.

I was driving 1906 model F Ford. We were first to cross the finish line at about 3 :30. We were wet and tired. But would do it again in a heartbeat! Always a fun run, great people and hospitality. 11th time for me. The Ford F was the oldest car I have driven. Previous cars were 1909 Brush and 1908 Ford S Roadster.

Great event, as always (although a little on the wet side this time...... ).

I added up the Model K appearances that I’m aware. My good friend the late Tim Kelly brought his “new” Model K on the run ten years ago. His success with the K motivated me to get one, and the next year took my first K on the run. Since then, over the last ten years, we’ve had Model K start, and finish, twenty times over that period. Pretty good performance record. Last year, we had four K begin and finish. That’s probably a record that won’t be equaled again.
