Another generator brush holder question
So I started into the generator for the TT. It turned freely and would even motor with 6v applied. The armature checked out ok on the growler so it is a rebuild candidate. But after removing the brush plate I noticed the insulated brush mount was loose, actually to the point it would pull out of the holes in the plate. Has anyone had luck remounting a brush holder? I know Langs sells the plate assembly.

Re: Another generator brush holder question
Start with a new repro or good used one and drill & tap to a # 4 or #6 brass screw - I've done several that way and I also have rebuilt ones available - drop me a note.
