Thanks for sharing the photos. Where is the stream you are crossing? We have a nice one waiting for you here is TN.
The temperature here in Chattanooga hit 99 today with a heat index of 106 but a front is expected tonight so the humidity is expected to drop so it should be in the mid 80s next week.

I Forded 3 streams in Missouri ferried the Illinois river. One road was a detour too deep.

On my trip last fall the mpg on my last five tanks of gas was 21.8, 20.5, 21.0, 21.9, and 20.9. Of course that was when I was keeping my speed down to 30-31 mph. If I had gone faster the mileage would have been less.

I'll add that I was running a standard NH carb. I don't know how that compares with the stock G for mpg.
