Wow........if that's an Austin, those things have better springs than I imagined!

Reminds me of the Laurel and Hardy film, "Our Wives" where Ollie and his rather large girlfriend try to squeeze into and an American Austin.

Don't know if this will work, but watch it up to about 3:17. You may have to copy and paste in another window, but it's worth it.

Funny The Boys movie Marty!
Up until 4.00 anyhow. :)
It reminded me of me getting down and into my Buick Lucerne or me driving my May-ur friend in a small parade in his 23 Baby Overland!
Yikes! Just give me a minute.
Happy got it sorted didn't he? Very cool.
Since I lost my mind mind, I feel more liberated

That famous big guy from Boston
Bought himself a new Baby Austin
He could squeeze in the car
But never get far
The springs, they just kept a-bustin' !

About 10 years ago, I worked on a 31 American Austin...
Pulled the engine and trans. [by hand !] and fabricated the clutch release fingers to get the clutch to release.
Reinstalled and got it running and driveable.
I'm less than 200lbs, and two people was a tight fit !!
Had to transport it on a lawn trailer, too narrow for a car trailer :?
