I'm asking this for a friend in Wisconsin. Her husband has passed several years ago and she is considering selling this T. It hasn't run in the past couple of decades, but was driven in some local parades before it was parked in this pole barn. (the proverbial "ran when parked"). I don't know if she has a title or just a bill of sale. She couldn't see the motor number because of the horn location, but remembers he husband calling it a 1923 touring. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like the body is pretty straight sheet metal wise but not sure about the wood. In present shape and without knowing anything mechanical about it I would say no more than 4000.00. And it there isn’t a title deduct 400.00. Since the widow is still alive at least getting a bill of sale would be the thing to do.
It probably can be made to run like it is with changing all the wiring as it looks like it needs. But that’s just getting it started. The rest is another question.

Seems like good candidate for restoration. Has all the features of low hood ‘23 touring, early without the dash mount factory steering column clamp, has accessory one.

Engine is changed out with a ‘26-27 style motor and transmission. Spoke wheels and 21” tires are later too. Aftermarket radiator, missing top irons.

Non-running , as is, with no title or current registration would be $1500-2000 value in my area.

Yup. Looks like it has a couple pretty new tires, those could make a $500 difference but anything over two grand I think she will own it for a long time unless it has a Ruckstell or some other spiffs.

Interesting accessorized dash. I’ve never seen door latch handles like that on an open T. Very rare factory top saddle bracket plugs in body, never had a top !?!? White sidewall tires ought to add $25-$30 to your estimate Dan ?

It is a together car not basket case, I would think 4000 to 4500 depending on the title, some one could buy it the way it is and have all kinds of fun.

Re the top; it would have had a top. The irons that held the top bows when folded would have been included but not installed. The plugs were removed and irons screwed in.

Without hearing it run...I wouldn't give more than $2K....just my opinion.
It's not hard to find a "drivable" car for $4-$5K.

Would the touring top be installed at the dealership and the 2 plugs thrown under the backseat ? Then did the buyer decide he didn’t want a touring top and pull the tacks and rear material along with the 2 ‘saddles’ and brackets?...... or could it be purchased without a top thus never having one ?? ... Trent, we need ya’

Agree that $1500-$2K would be reasonable. It's a restoration project. Aftermarket homeycomb radiator, spaghetti wiring job, rust thru at the bottom of the body (might be bad wood underneath that), missing top irons, etc. The tires could be worthless if old and dry-rotted. Terry
