Magneto and coil testing unit

Just installed and adjusted all the magnets I cleaned and remagnetized from the coil testing machine I bought last week.

Yep, that works. If the magnets hold two pounds or more (I go for four) and the gap is .025"-.040" you're good to go.

Yup, tested the weights with a 4 lb weight and the gap is around .025-28 so I’m set to test the amps / volts with separate test meters before checking the one on the unit.

The original Jewel ammeter had a sticky needle that wouldn’t return. I reset the pinion shaft and it works fine now.
